Work Service

     The Work Service program offers persons  with  developmental disabilities the
     opportunity to learn job skills while earning a paycheck.  Skills learned in Work
     Service include; 

  • Work habits and skills

  • Work attitudes

  • Relationships with co-workers and supervisors

  • Productivity

     Individuals  are  employed  by  OH Industries  and  develop general work skills
     while performing a variety of jobs including;  

  • Packaging

  • Shrink wrapping

  • RF sealing

  • Labeling

  • Inspection

  • Material handling

  • Quality control

     The “learn and earn” structure  of  Work Service provides a  source of income
      while  skills  needed  for  community employment are developed.  A variety of
      non-work activities that build on the skills learned through work are offered to
      individuals who are unable to perform available jobs.
