Opportunity House (OH) Athletics provides competitive team and individual sports programs for athletes with developmental disabilities across DeKalb County. We proudly compete locally in Special Olympics Illinois Region A and at the state level through Special Olympics Illinois. Beyond building athletic skills and promoting physical fitness, participation in Special Olympics helps strengthen social skills, enhance cognitive development, and boost self-confidence—empowering athletes both on and off the field.
Special Olympics sports programs are offered year-round and include:
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Unified Cornhole (Bags)
- Golf
- Softball
- Bocce
- Volleyball
- Bowling
