Supported Employment

The Supported Employment program helps people with developmental disabilities find employment in a wide range of community jobs, and provides the support necessary to maintain employment.   Services include:

  • Career Exploration
  • Identification of Work Skills & Interests
  • Job Match
  • Resume Development
  • Job Seeking Skills
  • Placement Services
  • Interviewing Skill
  • Job Coaching
  • Job Retention Counseling
  • Transportation Assistance

We aim to successfully place people in community jobs. We work with employers to match their work needs with individuals who can meet those needs, and we work with job seekers to identify realistic work goals based on interests, skills, and experience, and match those to a job.

Once a job has been found, on-the-job coaching is provided by experienced staff until the individual is performing all aspects of the job independently and to the employer’s satisfaction. Continuing support is available as needed.
