Campaign overview
Tackling the Limits is a campaign that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to take down barriers and reach their full potential. Through this campaign, Opportunity House and our NIU ambassadors will strive to change the narrative for people with disabilities, providing them the freedom to create their own identity by shifting attention towards their unique abilities. Opportunity House is full of many talented people who are capable of achieving anything they set their mind to. They are artists, athletes, musicians, students, and more.
Rocky LombardiRocky is the quarterback of the NIU football team. Rocky was encouraged to get involved with OH by a personal connection with his cousin who has autism. He is excited to interact with the people we serve and make it fun for them. Rocky also hopes to learn how Opportunity House gets involved in the community, and to listen to their many stories and experiences. |
cole tuckerCole is a wide receiver on the NIU football team. Born and raised in DeKalb, Cole decided to become an ambassador for OH to share and support a cause in his community. He is excited to be around our organization more and hopes to be able to put a smile on the faces of the people we serve. He looks forward to learning more about adults with disabilities in his time here. |
